    This is a critical role providing assistance and support to the Team Lead, AR Follow -up in a timely completion of carrier, provider, federal and state regulations. 

     

    Responsibilities

    Accounts Receivable Responsbilities: 

    • Processes charges in an aggressive manner so that established targets are met or exceeded (days in Accounts Receivable, net ratio, and budgeted collections).
    • Maintains insurance claims processing schedule consistent with the needs of the network and current policies, informs department manager of any additional insurance processing needs, modification and/or progress.
    • Responsible for the timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies.
    • Collects and controls medical accounts receivable aging through the billing and follow-up process.
    • Conducts insurance verifications.
    • Processes electronic and paper claims, cash posting, insurance, employer or provide account follow up

    Minimum Education and Experience

    Level II Staff 

     

    - A High School Diploma Required, Associates Degree preferred

     

    - 3 year(s) of customer service experience required,

     

    - Of which, 1 year of revenue cycle management, healthcare business development or practice operations experience required

     

    - Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required

     

    Leve I Staff 

     

    - A High School Diploma Required, Associates Degree preferred

     

    - 2 year(s) of customer service experience required, preferably in a healthcare setting

     

    - Knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
