We are seeking a friendly and motivated RN who can treat patients quickly and kindly.  This person will be a part of a team that is dedicated to improving the delivery and quality of healthcare to our Occupational Medicine patients. This is a per diem position, working on-site for our contracted companies for approximately 15 hours a month with weekends off! Occupational Medicine experience required. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Assists the practitioner with examinations, procedures, and other duties as assigned.
  • Administration of medications and injections as well as blood draws.
  • Collects and prepares specimens for laboratory as well as assists in management of the results.
  • Prepares exam rooms, including maintenance, sterilization of equipment, and stocking of supplies.
  • Attends facility required staff training and meetings.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • New graduates encouraged to apply
  • Occupational Medicine Experience Required 
  • Prior experience in busy medical office preferred
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to perform all job duties with no accommodations, including lifting up to 50 pounds, repeatedly bend and twist, and stand for 10-12 hours per day.

Education:

  • Graduate from accredited School of Nursing.

Required License or Certification:

  • Active RN License.
